Papa and Nonna came and stayed with us a couple weeks ago,

we had so much fun with them and Deacon really misses them!

We had a early Christmas and they surprised us all

and gave Deacon the train set he's been wanting!

This is pretty much all he does now everyday!

Snow day . . .

On Tuesday we took Deek up snowboarding with us,

Tyler and I switched off watching deek

and then we did some sledding, or rode on a "boat" as deacon called it.

The kid def. loves snow! Hooray!

Thanksgiving in the mountains. . .

Granpda Billings house in Anza... we love going to his "ranch!"

Deacon was a true country boy. . . riding horses, driving tractors

We had such a good thanksgiving and we have soooo many things to be thankful for.

This year I am especially grateful for so many family members that love and support us!

It was so fun to spend time with these 2 little munchkins. . .

I miss them already! We had so much fun. . .

REXY mama in Washington . . .

oh we had a blast... so relaxing for me. . . sleeping in, jacuziing in the rain, zumba dance class (so funny), going to lunch, making fun of all the twilight stuff (it was filmed here) chatting in her hubbies parents house overlooking the ocean and Canada, and of course a lot of laughing.

Can't wait for her to move back (hint hint)

It was such a fun, relaxing trip.. . Beautiful in the Pacific NW but I will say I am happy to be back to shorts and my 80 degrees today! sorry Steph, for all the complaining! (and Rexy)

The Birthday Boy

Yesterday Deacon turned "2" !!!

He was so cute when we sang to him, he loved it!

We had the house all decorated for when he woke up

and he went right to the presents of course.

He really is grasping the concept of presents that's for sure!

He was really excited all day and just kept coming up to us saying

"happy, happy, happy" which means more presents and cake please!

Opening presents sent in the mail from Papa, Nonnie and Uncle Mason!

We really cannot believe it. He has changed so much especially in the last couple months, he has over 50 words he can say now, is an inch away from riding the matterhorn at disneyland, doesn't drink bottles anymore, learned how to say daddeee in a way that pretty much gets him whatever he wants, and learned how to blow out his birthday candles! It has given Tyler and I more joy than we could ever imagine watching him grow up. He really is the most incredible kid, he gives us so much affection and every day I wake up feeling lucky to be his mom.

I feel incredibly lucky to be able to stay home with him and thank my
sweet, hardworking husband for the opportunity.
We had so much fun celebrating Deacon's birthday and can't wait for Christmas now!

Deek's party

We had Deacon's party Saturday and I don't know if it was more fun for Deacon or me!

We did baseball (Angels) theme, because that is Deek's favorite right now, he watched every game with us this year and would yell when there was hits and cheer when we did. He is getting pretty good on his little T too. So good we had to get him a bigger one for his birthday!

It was really fun to host our first party for him at our house!

Everytime I looked at Deacon in the bouncehouse he was

screaming or wrestling Uncle Colby. He had soooo much fun!

Papa was definitely the life of the party for Deacon. . .

and grammy brought THE BEST baseball cookies! oh i wish i still had some left!

My parents were a big help and it was so fun to have them and Colby.

We were going to play a baseball game with the kids but we ran out of time, but I kept looking over and seeing kids playing on their own, it was cute to see them running the bases!

Poor Deacon got so excited for every present, and then it got ripped out of his hands to open another. . . The trash truck made it all worth it though. You rock Jamie!
